Thanks CTV News for covering our pitch night last night. It was an inspirational evening hearing people in my community with incredible ideas! I’m just so proud of their bravery 😭🙏🏻

It was wonderful to be able to GIVE! Generosity is good for the soul. Thank you to all who pitched in so we could give 5k in micro grants 🎉🎉🎉

The room is getting set up for today!

Why celebrate art in community?
One of the artists displaying their work said this not too long ago, “I hate being retired. I’m depressed every day, nothing to do, and it feels I have no purpose.”

But once they started creating that turned around 🙌🏻
Other artists would say the same. It makes people feel ALIVE.

Coming today to check out their art is more than just looking around - it ignites purpose and meaning into people 🌟

We are on from 12-4pm at 2385 74th Ave SE
Flutes with sparkling cider will be served. And Brian’s cafe will be open for coffee ☕️

What does it look like to dream with a community?

🌟It looks like people coming out of isolation to find they are not alone on important dates like Thanksgiving and birthdays.

🌟It looks like having a place where their gifts and talents are celebrated and given a place to grow.

🌟It looks like people who never had the opportunity to lead are given the chance to have purpose.

🌟It looks like local businesses thriving, breaking cycles of poverty and giving people the chance to dream again for their families.

🌟It loos like safe places to share your story and be heard, seen, and loved.

I am so grateful for those dreaming together for our community. I invite you to dream WITH us. I would love to invite you to our community art show tomorrow 12-4pm at 2385 74th Ave to celebrate and see the incredible talent we have here in Ogden!
