This is scary stuff. Especially with resistance to naloxone.

We’re seeing new drug combinations in Calgary that are contributing toward an increased overdose risk. The addition of the benzodiazepine to counterfeit Xanax and Fentanyl makes the drug incredibly resistant to Naloxone.

Drug trends shift quickly and unpredictably and we maintain that no street drugs are safe. We also recognize that we remain within an opioid health crisis and we are seeking to reduce harm in any way we can. We are just checking in with everyone hoping you are all keeping safe. There will be no in person classes for a while, but we do offer some online classes that will give you temporary certification should you need that for work. (Either Red Cross or Heart and Stroke)
If you have expired since isolation started - you are given a 90 day extension.
