I’m excited to share a new opportunity that I have been working on for the past several months…..The Foothills Wellness Collective. My business partner Carrie Watson and I have come together to create the Foothills Wellness Collective. Our mission is to provide personal and professional growth, healing and learning opportunities through various therapeutic services, programs and workshops. All of our programs and services have been created to cultivate a deeper awareness and understanding of how to improve mental health and wellness, as well as provide relief from life's many challenges through traditional therapy, nature based and equine facilitated psychotherapy, as well as other holistic and complementary healing approaches. Below is a link to a podcast that we were recently interviewed, which describes our individual journeys and how we came together to create our vision for the Foothills Wellness Collective.
As entrepreneurs in southern Alberta, we had the opportunity to join the Women Entrepreneurs-in-STEM (WESTEM) program which focuses on advancing gender, rural-urban and racial equality in entrepreneurialism. One of the many supports offered through WESTEM was a business course which Carrie and I took this spring where we met many amazing women entrepreneurs and advisors. Through the connections that we built as part of WESTEM, we were invited to be interviewed on their podcast, called WEcast.

The Foothills Wellness Collective offers Equine-Eco-Psychotherapy (EEP) which is a therapeutic approach that we have created that combines the practices of equine facilitated learning (EFL), ecotherapy (also known as nature based therapy) and traditional psychotherapy.
