Between Friends facilitates programs with these goals in mind while promoting a focus on shared interests over individual differences.

Many people with disabilities seek social and recreational activities that are fundamental to enriching self-esteem, quality of life, and mental and physical health. Between Friends offers children, youth and adults a variety of programs that remove the barriers of isolation and truly function as the building blocks of friendship. We encourage diversity by connecting our community with their fellow citizens with disabilities, providing ongoing development and benefitting all people through the sharing of unique talents and perspectives

After a busy and incredible 2025, our staff are taking some well-deserved time to relax, recharge, and spend a little less time commuting and more time working from home.

As a result, effective immediately and until the week of January 5th, our office will be open to visitors only on Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

If you’d like to meet with one of our staff on another day, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance, and we’ll be happy to accommodate an alternate schedule that works for you.

This schedule applies only to in-person visits. Our phone lines and email are still monitored Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and our website remains open 24/7 for your convenience.

We’ll share an updated visitor schedule the week of January 5th as we return refreshed and ready for an exciting 2026.

Tonight is Holiday Registration! ☃️

Log into your account or give us a call at 5:30 PM tonight to sign up for your programs!

Programs sell out fast, so please make sure you're ready to go right at 5:30 PM.

Our registration phone lines will be open for 1 hour tonight from 5:30 - 6:30 PM. Online registration will remain open for a week.

Please make sure you've got you 2025 Membership, or else you will not be able to sign up for programs tonight.

You'll be able to register your team in the new year, so now is a great time to start planning your team and get ready for an evening full of golf, bowling, arcade games, and fun!

Did you know that 68% of youth and adults with disabilities report feeling severe loneliness?

At Between Friends, we aim to create spaces that provide opportunities for our members to build relationships. Around half of our members joined Between Friends looking to build connections, and nearly all of them report having made a friend through our programs.

These opportunities would not be possible without your support.

Today, we’re launching our Year End Campaign and asking you to help us Give the Gift of Joy. Your donation will go directly to making sure our programs continue to be a space where people of all abilities can build friendships and connections. On Monday, November 10th, our office will be closed to in person visitors, but we will still be around on phone, email, and social media to answer your questions!

On Tuesday, November 11th, our office will be closed, and our team will not be available.

We will see you back in the office on November 12th, and in programs on November 16th!
