👍Some patients have trouble putting on compression stockings, knowing the right techniques can help!

💖Here are our TOP tips to follow to make wearing compression stockings easy and comfortable:👇

❣️Put them on in morning, when the least amount of swelling is present.

❣️Centre the heel of the sock properly.

❣️Check that the fabric is evenly distributed over the leg, with no wrinkles.

❣️Ensure your legs and feet are dry.

❣️Use baby powder or talcum powder to reduce friction.

❣️Use donning or rubber gloves to make it easier to pull them up your leg & prevent snagging or tears.

❣️NEVER fold the band at the top of the stocking as this will constrict circulation.

❗If your toes start to tingle while you are wearing your compression stockings, remove them immediately and contact your doctor or vein specialist. 🚫
