Calgary Military Family Resource Centre We support families of Canadian Armed Forces members & veterans in Calgary, Red Deer & Lethbridge.

The Centre, when called upon by its members, provides the following services:
- Prevention and intervention support
- Counselling and peer support
- Social Service Workers (including financial assistance)
- Child Care including, respite care and emergancy child care
- Deployment workshops
- Child and youth programs and activities
- Youth and tween Committees and activiites
- Facilitation of the Duke of Edinbourgh Leadership
- Personal development workshops
- Prevention Workshops

Our Story

Whether youโ€™re a Canadian Armed Forces member (CAF), veteran, family member, loved one or friend, you understand and appreciate the unique challenges that make being in the military an occupation different from any other. At the Calgary Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC) we aim to help lessen the impact of these challenges. We support families of CAF members within our service area of Southern Alberta, including Red Deer and south to Lethbridge. Our programs and services include prevention, support and intervention services, social activities and events (Stampede Breakfast, Christmas party), personal development workshops, family separation and reunification support, counselling, crisis intervention, child and youth programs, discounted admission passes, and more. The Calgary MFRC is located in the Currie Barracks, on the west side of Crowchild Trail SW The MFRC is in the General Waters Building (41 CBG HQ), in Room #128
