Alberta is excited to be participating in the 2026 U20 All Nations Volleyball Showcase that will be travelling to New Zealand this summer!
*This application is only for athletes residing in ALBERTA*

The inaugural All-Nations Indigenous Volleyball Showcase was held in July 2024 at York University in Toronto and again at the University of Alberta in Edmonton in 2025. This event brought together “All-Nations” Canada teams, formed through collaboration with provinces, and teams from New Zealand AMP (Aotearoa Māori Poirewa) Volleyball, facilitating both competition and cultural exchange. A core component of the tournament is fostering cultural connection and mutual understanding, helping to strengthen bonds between Indigenous communities in Canada and New Zealand.

Competing age groups: U20 Men and Women (born between July 9, 2008 and 2006)

The All Nations teams will be comprised of Indigenous athletes and coaches from across Canada. Alberta will be selecting 3 U20 female and 3 U20 male athletes for the event.

Dates: July 8 - July 19, 2026
Deadline to complete form: Thursday, March 20th at 11:59 PM

Cheque distribution will take place after each team’s first game, with Community Wellness staff on site daily from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM at tournament arenas (Maxbell & Terwilliger).
