We started to manage care plan extremely talented athlete Oana, who has dedicated herself to cultivating her body to preform extremely acrobatic maneuvers in acrobatic cheerleading. With these movements, Oana requires not only constant training but to help her body recover and rehabilitate as quickly as possible. This is crucial for her to maintain balance in her body to prevent further injuries and to recover without “hiccups” when she does sustain falls. We like to think of her as tuning and balancing a high performance race car. We are grateful to help her be part of her ongoing team in assisting her with her passion for the acrobatic cheerleading endeavours!

Doing what I preach at Century Wellness. I believe in self care, from treating our spine, joints, nervous systems, circulatory systems and musculoskeletal systems as we age. Use it or lose it philosophy. My goals is to age well… which means to depreciate slower with age than the average age group within my peers. Getting regular chiropractic care, muscle and soft tissue treatments along with consistent stretching and conditioning exercises are crucial habits that I instill on myself as well as to my patients and clients. Nutrition and supplementation along with very good rest are factors to healthy mind, body and emotional well being. It takes real diligent work and discipline to keep doing it. That is the reason that it is so important to help educate the public along with great treatments!

Alignments and proper positioning of joints, tendons and muscles with supple fascia are crucial components of treatments in our Century Wellness. Dr. Michael Yoon who is Hap KI Do master practices Breakfalls and dynamic kicking to keep his body limber throughout the years. This regiments of martial arts motions helps his body to keep supple slowing down the age related adhesions and TriggerPoints that sets up for injuries such as tendon tears and ruptures. It is natural for body to get stiffer with aging however with proper diet, supplementation, body care such as chiropractic, massage, acupuncture and active exercises that combines strength training and dynamic flexibility is important aspect healthy aging. It is not a guarantee to anti-aging however it does raise the probability of being anti-aging.
