Happy ! Today we celebrate the divine woman of this earth and all the amazing things they do! It’s so important to celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women, not just today but every day.

The Practice Calgary is woman owned and founded by Dr. Carmen Nelson in 2011! Additionally, our team is made up of strong, inspiring, and amazing woman including Dr, Pat Ferris, Victoria Hunter, Laura Meier, and Tenaya Ryan.

Women’s day first came into existence in 1909 when over 15 000 women marched through New York demanding better pay, shorter hours, and voting rights.
The day was celebrated internationally first in 1911, and continues to be celebrated yearly. Today is a day to celebrate women’s achievements, raise awareness for women’s rights, and call for positive change for advancing women.

Here is your reminder to celebrate all the amazing women in your life, not just today, but always. Thank you to all of the wonderful and powerful women out there and all that you do for us! We love you!
