Had the pleasure of hiking up to Pickle Jar lake this last weekend with this great son of mine…. Best hiking buddy a Dad could ask for. We left thinking we would be having this wonderful summer hike, sleep out in our hammocks under the stars, but ended up freezing our butts off and not sleeping in our Hammocks. Still in the end, we made memories and have great stories to tell!

I’m happy to report that the gnomes are back after a long winter and some social isolation 😉.
It’s nice to see them outside my office window again, they bring much needed joy and happiness during these trying times!
Thanks to my Dad for starting this little village years ago, and all those who have secretly dropped off these little gnomes since!!

For those who may not know us Ausmus’s, basketball is a big deal in our home. I have 4 kids who love the sport and I love coaching and watching them compete!! This concludes another fun season for us but the fun doesn’t end here because this week was the start of evaluations for spring basketball! These kids are going to either keep me young at heart or run me into the ground! either way I’ll be enjoying the ride as we go!!
