Thank you for sharing your story Sharon Salzberg! Many of us have those life events bubble up. I had a good friend tell me to hug my past even if it’s not that great. Our past makes us who we are and our adverse childhood experiences have the potential to make us stronger.

Mental Health Awareness is today October 10, 2021.

Mental Health is something all of us have and we forget that it is just as important as our physical health. They are inter-related as when we are off balance - it affects everything!

Having the strength to talk with someone is the toughest step because we feel that we should be able to handle everything that is thrown at us. But let me tell you this - even the toughest people are crumbling right now. Our world is in conflict about everything! We are struggling with who to trust and what to believe.

Your mental health is worth everything - it’s truly what keeps us going. If you are feeling off - make sure you do something about it. There are many resources available. Many free of charge. Sometimes it’s just remembering to give ourselves a time out!

As it is thanksgiving in Canada as well today, find something to be grateful for. It could be the colours in the leaves or a simple cup of tea.

♥️ You are worth it! Don’t forget that! ♥️
