Dear patients,
As you are all well aware, the emerging public health threat COVID-19 is a cause of concern that should not be ignored. Our clinic recognizes this and based on information from the ACAC and public health authorities, we advise patients not to come to the clinic if:
1. the patient has traveled outside Canada in the last 2 weeks (effective February 27, 2020)
2. the patient has a fever, cough and/or nausea, and if the patient had close contact with a person with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19
3. the patient has had close contact with a person with acute respiratory illness who was in mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Iran, South Korea, Japan or Italy in the last two weeks (effective February 27, 2020)
Any patients who have traveled outside Canada or have any of the above listed symptoms are asked to self-isolate and call Health Link 811.
It’s always advised that any patients feeling sick should just stay at home and recuperate no matter what they have.
Any patients who are coming into the clinic are advised to wash their hands before and after their appointment.
The ACAC recognizes the concern the emerging public health threat novel coronavirus (COVID-19) is raising among chiropractors, their clinics and their patients.
