1. Schedule your own care like an appointment
If it’s not on the calendar, it gets bumped. Block time for rest, therapy, movement, or nothing at all—and treat it as non-negotiable.
2. Accept help before you’re burned out
You don’t have to be at your breaking point to deserve support. Whether it’s respite care, a friend dropping a meal, or paid help—say yes sooner.
3. Lower the bar (on purpose)
Everything does not need to be done perfectly. Decide what truly matters today and let the rest wait. Survival mode is still success.
4. Create one daily moment that’s just yours
