Carrying a backpack may seem simple, but improper use can place excessive stress on the shoulders, neck, and spine—leading to pain, poor posture, and even long-term injuries. Here’s how to wear your backpack the right way:

🔹 Use Both Straps
Wearing a bag on one shoulder shifts your weight unevenly, causing muscle imbalances and strain.

🔹 Adjust for Proper Fit
The base of the backpack should sit just above the hips and against the curve of your lower back—not sagging below.

🔹 Distribute the Load
Heavier items should be packed close to your spine, with lighter items further out. This reduces leverage and minimizes pull on your shoulders.

🔹 Keep it Light
A safe limit is about 10–15% of your body weight. Consistently carrying more increases risk of pain and injury.

🔹 Secure with Extra Straps
