Every house has a heart 💜At Recovery Acres, part of it lives in the kitchen 🍽️
Alice Patterson was never an addict, but addiction touched her life through the people she loved. When she joined Recovery Acres she learned something simple and powerful: if people aren’t fed well, they don’t stay. So she made food her way of supporting recovery - cooking meals that help everyone feel cared for, grounded, and able to keep going 💜
For Adam, those meals - and the community around them - mattered. The 1835 House became a safe place in early sobriety, offering stability when life felt uncertain. That support changed his path.
Every early December, Adam hosts a fundraiser at the Beltliner. The funds he raises go toward Christmas dinner for everyone at Recovery Acres, ensuring no one in treatment spends the holidays without a warm meal and community. There’s still time to get your donation in and support this amazing tradition: https://www.recoveryacres.org/donate
📍 We hope you join us tomorrow for our Open House at 11AM. Come see the heart of the House, meet Alice, and learn how your support makes recovery possible.
Good food. Real care. Second chances 💜
