Provides Birth and Postpartum Doula Services in Calgary and Area. My name is Natasja Boivin. I believe in mothering the mother.

I am a Birth and Postpartum Doula working in Calgary, Cochrane and Airdrie. I’m a birth doula because I genuinely believe every birthing woman and her partner should feel satisfied, supported and continuously cared for during labour and birth of their child. I’m a postpartum doula because I want every woman and her partner to have the best possible support in the first days and early weeks after the birth of their baby/babies. I believe in empowering the father. I strongly encourage parents to prioritize self-care to recover both physically and mentally from birth. I encourage bonding with the baby and I guide the parents to feeling confident in their ability to nurture and care for their new family member. Being a doula is my passion and I would be delighted to support you in achieving a satisfying birth and ensuring that you and your family get off to the best start possible. Even a mask can’t contain my excitement! For 20 years I have called Canada my home. For 20 years I have not been able to vote in any elections. Not Municipal, Provincial or Federal. Today I voted for the first time as a Canadian Citizen, and I do not take this privilege for granted. 🇨🇦

Thank you and for the cookie decorating class. The girls and I had lots of fun (and some anger issues when it didn’t go the we wanted it to. 🙈)

And thank you to Michelle for hosting us and for all your guidance and patience. The real test will be when we have to decorate without your support.

For now, I will stick to being a doula and cookie decorating will remain a seasonal hobby. 😉
