🌗 Facing Darkness with Awareness and Grace
In this life, I’ve found myself in relationships and situations that were not random—they were designed, intentional, and part of my growth. Everything truly happens for us, not to us.
For a long time, I couldn’t understand why acts of kindness, generosity, and empowerment were sometimes met with hostility, manipulation, or betrayal. But rather than collapse into victimhood, I chose to become both student and teacher—to observe with awareness instead of reaction.
Many beings on this Earth act from unhealed trauma, conditioning, or fear. Some even use their awareness intentionally to take from others—energy, time, money, peace, or connection to Source. In shamanic and traditional terms, this is known as bruja’ery or dark witchcraft: the use of influence, illusion, or energetic manipulation to control, distract, or drain others.
These influences rarely arrive looking dark. They appear as friends, allies, lovers, or helpers—bright and charismatic on the surface. This is the enticement. Once trust is earned and closeness is established, the true nature of the dynamic begins to emerge. Like a fisherman setting a hook, the manipulator begins to reel in slowly—testing, triggering, and feeding on reaction.
As this unfolds, the target may enter fight, flight, or freeze responses—what we now call trauma bonding or gaslighting. The abuser alternates between charm and cruelty, creating confusion and dependency. Over time, this erodes confidence, clarity, and vitality. It’s not just emotional; it’s energetic.
When boundaries are set, the tactics may escalate—rumors, blame-shifting, or the enlistment of others to isolate or discredit the one standing in truth. Modern language calls this narcissistic abuse, gang-stalking, or psychological warfare. Ancient traditions called it dark arts. Different words—same pattern.
Yet even this has a sacred role.
For one to truly know the Light, one must encounter the Shadow.
For one to embody Love, one must face what Love is not.
These experiences have strengthened me beyond measure. They’ve taught me discernment, compassion, and the power of neutrality. I no longer see my abusers as enemies, but as mirrors—showing me where I still held fear, where I gave my power away, and where I had yet to stand fully in sovereignty.
To those who operate through darkness, I say this with love:
You reveal our strength by testing it. You expose the light by trying to hide it. You confirm our purpose by attempting to derail it.
Your shadows are welcome here—but they will meet only light, compassion, and truth.
I now walk with gratitude for every lesson, every scar, every unveiling.
I walk with love for those still trapped in illusion, knowing they too are part of the Great Remembering.
May all beings awaken from manipulation into awareness,
from fear into love,
from control into freedom.
🌕 In the end, darkness serves the dawn.
