To the Goddess who is impulsive, restless and spontaneous.

To the Goddess who has an abundance of energy that cannot be controlled.

To the Goddess who is curious, asking never-ending questions, inventive, creative, fast-paced.

To the Goddess who has spent her whole life learning to compensate for her quirks.

To the Goddess who has learnt to suppress her natural instincts to conform.

To the Goddess who compulsively checks and organises to the extreme to avoid making mistakes.

To the Goddess who lives in fear of not living up to the expectations of others.

To the Goddess who berates herself every day for being different.

To the Goddess who never feels she does enough.

To the Goddess who tries desperately to keep her focus on conversations so as not to appear distracted or rude.

To the Goddess with social anxiety who tries desperately to learn how to fit in to society.

To the Goddess who constantly wonders what she will mess up next.

To the Goddess who dissociates when she becomes overwhelmed.

To the Goddess who cannot be still for a prolonged period.

To the Goddess who hyper focusses and forgets there is a world outside the task in hand.

To the Goddess with the constantly racing mind.
To the Goddess who doesn’t fit in.

To the Goddess who is distraught at the realisation that there will never be enough time in the world to complete every idea in their head.

To the Goddess whose life is built upon a web of coping mechanisms.

To the Goddess who over plans constantly to feel safe.

To the Goddess who feels like she is constantly letting people down.

To the Goddess who is burnt out trying to blend into what she believes she should be.

To the Goddess who has never found her place on the earth.

To the Goddess who feels so intensely that every emotion is all-consuming.

To the Goddess who feels numb because she has too many emotions that she cannot process.

To the Goddess who has shut down.

To the Goddess who doesn’t feel safe with themselves.

To the Goddess who strives connection and company but struggles with social interaction.

To the Goddess who cries silently to themselves.

To the Goddess who doesn’t understand why she is rejected.

To the Goddess who lacks self esteem and never feels enough.

But also feels she is too much.

To the Goddess who over works constantly because she doesn’t feel worthy just being herself.

To the Goddess who is called prolific, when really she would love to stop but cannot.

To the Goddess who has to constantly justify her worth.

To the Goddess whose leg never stops tapping.

To the Goddess who is exhausted when she wakes up.

To the Goddess whose best friend is insomnia.

To the Goddess who cannot turn off that 1 line of a song going over and over and over and over.

To the Goddess who is compulsive.
To the Goddess who is obsessive.

To the Goddess who feels unsafe because the routine has changed at the last minute.

To the Goddess who always feels on the outside.
To the Goddess who cannot focus.

To the Goddess who cannot regulate their emotional responses and then berates herself for acting up.

To the Goddess who is constantly tired.
To the Goddess is always on red alert.
To the Goddess who beats herself up.
To the Goddess who does not stop. Ever.

To the Goddess who wants to be held.
To the Goddess who wants to be seen.

I see you.
I am you.
I love you.
And I hold you in my arms to breathe.
You are not alone.

Come back into your body because you are magnificent.

Exactly as you are.

The Black Sheep Gospel

1. Give up your vows of silence, which only serve to protect the old and the stale.

2. Unwind your vigilance, soften your belly, open your jaw, and speak the truth you long to hear.

3. Be the champion of your right to be here.

4. Know that it is you who must first accept your rejected qualities, adopting them with the totality of your love and commitment. Aspire to let them never feel outside of love again.

5. Venerate your too-muchness with an ever-renewing vow to become increasingly weird and eccentric.

6. Send out your signals of originality with frequency and constancy, honoring whatever small trickle of response you may get, until you reach a momentum.

7. Notice your helpers, and not your unbelievers.

8. Remember that your offering needs no explanation. It is its own explanation.

9. Go it alone until you are alone with others. Support each other without hesitation.

10. Become a crack in the network that undermines the great towers of establishment

11. Make your life a wayfinding, proof that we can live outside the usual grooves.

12. Brag about your escape.

13. Send your missives into the network to be reproduced, let your symbols be adopted and adapted and transmitted broadly into the new culture we’re building together.

There is an ancient being
An ancient energy that
Resides within each of us

An ancient woman who
Remembers the old ways

She who remembers the
Rituals, prayers and offerings
To the Wise Ones and the
Goddesses who walked
Ancient pathways and
Inhabited the Temples,
Caves and the Huts along
Hedgerows and Edges

Can you feel her memories?
Her knowings of the secrets
Of both Woman and Nature?

Can you feel or touch Her longing
For another time when Women
Were called to Circle together?

When warp and weft created a whole
And sacred alchemy and Sisterhood
Formed and informed ways of being
And knowing, living and doing

Sit quietly and ask this ancient being,
This woman, to introduce herself

Listen and feel into her energy as
You have a conversation with this
Aspect of yourself for She IS You

What does She want you to know?
What questions do you have for Her?

Within all of us there is this feeling
Of many different parts, different
Memories, different people even

Your Ancient Being/Woman is
One of your most sacred allies
Embodying both age and youth,
She is an aspect of You in all
Your Incarnations and Lifetimes

As the serpent coils around you
And memories flood your soul
She is the wisdom of the Elder
And the playfulness of Youth

Close your eyes, feel her energy as
You breath in the wisdom of time
And welcome her home

In the beginning, in a time that was no time, nothing existed but the Womb.

And the Womb was a limitless dark cauldron of all things in potential: a chaotic blood-soup of matter and energy, fluid as water yet mud-solid with salts of the earth, red-hot as fire yet relentlessly churning and bubbling with all the winds.

And the Womb was the Mother, before She took form and gave form to Existence.

She was the Deep.

If you’re gonna engage in ancestral work–babyyyy you betta be immersed in the Shadow work. Not all of our ancestors were decent folk. Some were grimey, obsessive, violent, constantly activated and vengeful AF. Ancestor veneration is an invitation to have range, discernment, and to notice what parts of you are activated by your ish – and what parts are theirs.

Many of us need to reach back into our bloodlines to connect with those before colonialism and cultural disruption – times that cut us from nature and our truest selves.

And. We don’t all need to engage with our dead. Not all need to be engaged with. Some ancestors remain bound to scarcity, abuse lineages, violence, compliance, fear, abandonment, or vengeance. That’s ok. We don’t have to be in relationship with all of them.

I’ve found relating with ancestors is just as rewarding and challenging as with the living. We don’t need to know, see, or listen to all. We get to cut cords, slam doors, and declare: “you will no longer have access to me and my family!”

Being with ancestors requires humility, discernment, boundaries, and constant clarifying. These boundaries must be practiced in real time as well as with the dead. This work is ever changing – and it means facing the shady, resentful, shameful parts too. Because we allll got em.

Community and accountability are vital; part of the decolonial journey is discernment and forgiveness. And we can forgive without inviting people back – ancestors included.

This IS lineage repair work. Sometimes we may need to engage in mutual forgiveness and speak directly to them.

These practices are vital amid collapse and warfare on all planes.

Ancestral veneration is an invitation to discern what is yours, what is theirs, and what you choose to transform.

“We can't change history.
But we can stop repeating it.
The Eternal Song film invites us to witness the wounds and wisdom carried through generations-
To listen without turning away.
To remember that we belong to Earth, to each other, and to a much older story
