Is it safe?
In some cases, mild at-home microneedling can be safe if you don’t have underlying skin concerns — and you may see very superficial results.

That said, this is one treatment we strongly recommend having done in clinic, and here’s why:

1️⃣ A trained skin professional knows how your skin should respond to controlled trauma and can safely adjust depth, pressure, and technique based on your skin’s condition and tolerance.

2️⃣ In the clinic, we use medical-grade, sterile, and purpose-formulated products designed specifically for microneedling. Using products that aren’t pure or meant for needling can increase the risk of irritation, inflammation, or reactions.

3️⃣ When microneedling is done incorrectly, it can lead to compromised skin barrier, infection, scarring, or pigmentation concerns. These often require professional treatment to correct.
