Our team is participating in the Voices Empower: Walk to Break the Silence hosted by Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region this Saturday November 22nd 💙

Why We Walk: Every 6 days in Canada, a woman is killed by her intimate partner.

In 2024, there were 187 femicides in Canada - including 62 in Ontario, according to the Ontario Association of Interval and Transition Houses.

Escalated violence is preventable with the right support.

We must continue raising awareness and funds to prevent these tragedies from happening.

Back in May, Cambridge Eye Care partnered with Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region to help support women and children in our community. Thanks to your incredible generosity, we’re proud to share that we raised $1,552.55 through donations and a portion of our eyewear sales.

These funds help provide vital services including:
