Walking + head turns + steady eyes 👀

After a concussion, even simple movements can make the world feel like it’s bouncing or lagging. That’s often a gaze stability issue — when the eyes and inner ear aren’t communicating efficiently.

This exercise targets the vestibulo-ocular reflex (VOR), which helps keep your vision clear while your head is moving. By walking with controlled head turns while staying focused on a visual target (like a maze map), we’re training the brain to maintain clear vision during motion.

Improving gaze stability can reduce symptoms like blurred vision, dizziness, and motion sensitivity — and help patients feel more confident navigating busy, real-world environments.
