It’s Friday — which, let’s be honest, doesn’t mean too much around here.

We’re 24/7/365… rain, snow, sleet, or shine.

Regardless, Friday is a good day to celebrate a great team. This is a complex environment, and our team manages it very well.

We have a great group of ladies at Evergreen who’ve formed a Volunteer Event Committee — three of our Health Care Assistants bringing more connection and activity to residents.

Last year’s first Christmas Market was a big success. This year, they’re back with the 2nd Annual Evergreen Christmas Bazaar.

Event dates:
• Friday, November 14 | 3:00–9:00 PM
• Saturday, November 15 | 10:00 AM–3:00 PM

We could use your help:
∞ Baked goods donations — residents will sell these; 100% of proceeds go back to resident programs
∞ Set-up and clean-up help — before and after the event
∞ Greeters and parking attendants
∞ Bake sale helpers — Fri Nov 14 @ 2:00 pm and Sat Nov 15 @ 9:00 am

Vendors: local artisans and crafters are welcome. Email Paula at nanaofcdb@gmail.com by November 7, 2025. Vendor fees are $25 for event insurance, plus 20% of profits to support resident-centered programs.

If you can’t volunteer or donate, please come by to browse and visit. Every bit of participation helps make the day better for residents.

Just wanted to say “Thank You” for all your hard work to this amazing little lady 💚from the: decorating, painting, coordinating, daily fixing/replacing batteries-lights, putting up with me & not to mention the outstanding job in the kitchen each & every holiday giving out popcorn and some of the best damn hot chocolate around-almost as sweet as you 🥰 Im so lucky to have you in my life & couldn’t do any of this without you…..
