***Reminder*** I am not an RMT. I am a holistic esthetician who graduated with honours, particularly in the massage/anatomy department. I've since invested in various trainings and am certified in the following:
Reiki level 1&2, Indian Scalp Massage, Aromatouch Essential Oil Massage Protocol, ***Traditional Chinese Fire Cupping***{my niche/specialty}, Hot Stone and Bamboo as well as Warm Herb Poultice Massage, Reflexology, Sound Healing, RYT(Registered Yoga Teacher), Lymphatic Drainage Massage, Skin Care Production, and a few more.
RMTs cannot legally work with fire cupping, as with many rules, regulations and fees. This is why I choose to continue to use what I went to college for as well as all other courses I've taken. Healing shouldn't be ruled or limited on how many modalities you can custom combine to give the best possible experience/results. We are abundant! 💫
I'd feel bad for the teacher who tried to teach me to do otherwise when I know I can offer better. 😂 I've been doing this for 15 years professionally and continue to educate myself on becoming more effective&efficient at what I do.
Back to fire cupping:
This is one of my favourite modalities to utilize in my treatments. Fire cupping is amazing! RMTS can work with the silicone cups, but apparently not fire cups. It's the liscence they pay for that actually limits what they can offer. I have invested in so many extras to ensure the best experience/ results.
I've never personally went to an RMT who used DoTerra essential oils in their treatments. Only the holistic practitioners like me. Rarely do they use a base of organic fractionated coconut oil & they definatly do not include hot stones at no extra cost. My point is, it is not the same experience at all. All the little extras add up and it's really something one must experience for themselves.
Depending on what your coverage is, my treatments are often the same cost or cheaper, at (IMO) greater value.
During sessions, you have the option of enjoying sound frequency healing and reiki to enhance relaxation.
So no, collectively, I do not do direct billing.. I'm willing to offer a sliding scale if needed 1000%
When I save enough to go back to school, it will be to become an Acupuncturist so I can continue to work with the magic of fire cupping and achieve healthy free-flowing meridians ♡
THEN I will be able to offer coverage for direct billing etc.
For now, I can offer inclusive rates and a $25 discount to first time visits.
Thanks ♡ 💆♀️🥰💫
