Happy 2026 so far! ✨ Last week was a very sweet one at the studio as we all unfurled together after the holidays. It felt so wonderful to get ourselves moving again!

📢 This week we are offering a special draw for a We'Moon datebook that didn't sell over the holidays, and because it's a daily calendar book - it needs to find a home soon to be enjoyed fully! This datebook is written by women, for women, and it has the most amazing astrological readings, images and poems. Everyone who attends classes (studio or online) this week will be entered into the draw and I'll let you know who won next Sunday January 18!

❄️ Winter yoga invites us to linger. Yin yoga, restorative poses, and slow, mindful flows are especially supportive during this time. Long-held poses that gently compress and hydrate the joints – such as butterfly, dragonfly, or supported child’s pose – help nourish connective tissues and encourage deep release. Props become allies: bolsters, blankets, and blocks create a feeling of safety and containment.

❄️ Practices are ideally grounded and close to the earth. Seated and supine poses calm the nervous system, while gentle forward folds encourage introspection. Rather than going strong in energizing backbends or strong heating sequences, we find balance and choose movements that soothe and stabilize, allowing the body to rest in its natural rhythm.

❄️ We will be enjoying winter themes & wintering yoga practices all this week! It would be lovely if you have time to join us, in the studio or online.
