We are preplanning Medical Staff for this year's Big Valley Jamboree 2022.
We are accepting Medical Staff Paid & Volunteer registrations through our dedicated email for shifts to assist with Logistics, First Aid, and Medical Care.
We are looking for
• First Aiders, (Volunteer)
• Emergency Medical Responders (EMR’s), (limited paid positions)
• Primary Care Paramedics (PCP’s), (limited paid positions)
• Advanced Care Paramedics (ACP’s), (limited paid positions)
• Medical/Physician Students (Volunteer)
We will also look at those in school for the above professions – but you must have finished at a minimum of your 1st year (sorry no one who is planning) and
you MUST be registered to practice in Alberta

Copy of your resume
• Copy of your CPR certificate
• Copy of your Provincial License to practice (or if in school – your confirmation of enrollment or if just graduated - confirmation)
Tell us your experience and why you would like to be a part of the medical team.
The Medical staff selection plan is anticipated to follow:
• Those who can take shifts during all 4 days will be selected first.
• Those folks able to take 2 or more shifts (days) will be given preference.
Those able to work only 1 day
• Once the limited paid positions are filled – then only Volunteer positions will be available
We will provide some meals, some accommodations, and other sundries & free takeaway items for volunteer positions.
We will also accommodate your opportunity to take in the shows based on the schedule (as much as doable).
At no time during your paid or volunteer duty time can you consume alcohol or consume drugs.

We provide an opportunity to work with a team of highly experienced and qualified medical professionals over the 4-day event.
All members are afforded additional coverage for insurance, WCB, and Medical Direction onsite throughout the event.
