These classes are for one hour

Restore and reconnect areyoga classes designed with therapeutic intentions and particular focus on the pelvic floor.
These classes are for 75 minutes

Meditation classes will be delivered in a variety of styles, including yoga nidra

A little reflection from today’s pelvic health session…

Not everyone needs to strengthen their pelvic floor.

Today, through conversation and a simple movement assessment, it became clear that the body was actually holding a lot of tension.

So instead of adding more exercises, we shifted the focus to something different:
- learning how to relax
- reconnecting with the breath
- allowing the pelvic floor to respond, not grip

This is more common than you might think.

If you’ve been doing all the “right” things—like Kegels—but still feel tight, uncomfortable, or not quite right… your body might be asking for less effort, not more.

Sometimes the most powerful work is learning how to let go. 🤍

Coming to Balanced Life Studio soon.

So what is Yoga therapy?

Yoga therapy is designed to work one on one with an individual using yoga techniques such as movement, breath, and meditation.

A yoga therapist creates individual treatment plans to reduce suffering by blending yoga techniques and western science. We work with our clients to help achieve balance and healing within the body, breath and mind by encouraging self healing, along with holistic care.

Some examples of conditions that yoga therapy can help with  include anxiety, joint pathologies, pain control, musculoskeletal imbalances, digestive issues, and insomnia.

Yoga therapists are educators with the goal to help people with their healing process  through both treatment and prevention.

Yoga therapy is covered under many health insurance plans.
