Gambling a problem, here is A resources from NL Health Services to help raise awareness of your Gambling activitie.

NL Health Services is offering a Gambling Awareness Session led by addictions counsellors

For many people, gambling can be a form of entertainment. But sometimes gambling patterns can change over time and begin to affect our well-being, relationships or finances. Learning more about gambling behaviours can be an important first step toward understanding and finding support.

This session offers a safe and welcoming space for:

☑ People who are curious about their gambling use habits

☑ Family members or loved ones supporting someone experiencing challenges with gambling.

During this session, participants will learn:

✔️ How gambling patterns can develop and change over time.

✔️ How recreational gambling progresses to gambling use disorder.

✔️ Where to find support and resources for individuals and families.

Addictions counsellors will be available to answer questions. Participants are not required to speak or share personal information. The session is held in an atmosphere of privacy, respect and understanding.

Through powerful personal stories, music, and shared food, we’ll explore themes of isolation and belonging. This gathering celebrates diverse voices and lived experiences, creating space to connect, reflect, and build meaningful community.

Happiness is something that we choose, happiness is a way we choose to live our life according to our surroundings and situations.

Happiness is not in accordance to someone else. It is our personal feeling from within is what creates happiness, and how we perceive and interpret the life's events.

For myself it started with the Serenity Prayer.

"God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, And wisdom to know the difference."
