Heritage Community Fitness Healthy People | Healthy Communities We believe healthy people create healthy communities. What does “integrative health” mean to us? Your health is our care.

Heritage Community Fitness is a locally owned Carleton Place integrative health facility that combines a state-of-the-art fitness centre, group fitness classes, and physical rehabilitation services under one roof. It’s a new approach that formed through the belief that good health is a combination of factors – one that includes both fitness and rehabilitation. Fitness
We opened our fitness centre in 2007 to create an environment that encourages people of all abilities to take an active role in nurturing good health. Our 22,000-square-foot fitness centre includes cardio equipment, a full inventory of free weights and strength-training equipment, fitness accessories, and group fitness classes. We have something for everyone. Rehabilitation
Our Collaborative Care Centre has evolved since opening in 2014 to include 14 health care specialties. These health care services include chiropractic, concussion management, counselling, exercise rehabilitation, naturopathy, nutritional services, physiotherapy, paediatric physiotherapy, pelvic floor therapy, prenatal massage therapy, registered massage therapy, and TMJ therapy. Our practitioners collaborate to ensure clients receive the best care possible. You’ll often see our team with clients in our fitness centre creating rehabilitation plans to support sustainable recovery. We are the largest integrative health facility in Ontario to offer this combination of complementary services. You can also find us at:

Our popular Yin Yoga & Massage fundraiser in support of the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital Foundation returns on Wednesday, November 26 at 7:30 p.m.

This 75-minute experience will have you feeling pampered as our yoga instructors guide you through a calming yin yoga practice. You’ll receive gentle massage and adjustments during the session, allowing you to sink deeper into each pose, releasing layers of tension and expanding your state of relaxation.

Lisa Rochon, Susan Woodley, and Anne-Marie Audet lead the class, as registered massage therapist Stephanie Healey provides the massage component.

You don’t need to be a member to join us. Space is limited to allow for individual attention. Register at our front desk, by phone, with our mobile app, or online for a donation amount of $20, $50, or $100.

***Please note: the sensory experience will be enhanced with diffusers and essential oils.

"This is nervous-system care in a loud season: shopping, travel, hosting, family dynamics, extra emotions, late nights, extra alcohol, inconsistent meals. It all adds up - physically, mentally, emotionally. Your body will handle it so much better when you build in recovery on purpose."

We’re looking forward to officially welcoming Erin Rickli, MSW/RSW, Psychotherapist, to our Collaborative Care Centre on November 17.

Erin works with pre-teen/teens, adults, and couples in her counselling practice. Her approach is integrative, blending authenticity, gentleness, and evidence-based strategies to meet your unique needs.

Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, and she doesn’t believe in rigid formulas. Instead, she meets you where you are, offering support that feels relevant, practical, and (most importantly) genuine. She welcomes clients from all backgrounds, identities, and orientations, ensuring a space where you feel truly seen and heard.

Appointments with Erin can be booked at our front desk, through our app, or online.

We’ve created a Frequently Asked Questions document (PDF) to answer questions you may have about counselling at our Collaborative Care Centre. You can find it on our website https://www.heritagefitness.ca/health-care-services/

The Christmas angel tree in support of The Carleton Place Christmas Basket Program is now up at our front desk. This annual initiative collects gifts for vulnerable individuals in our community.

The angels were snapped up fast this morning — a testament to the generosity of our community 💕

We'll have more angels on the tree shortly 🎄

If you take an angel tag while you're here, please register with the team at the front desk so we can account for each recipient/gift. Unwrapped gifts (with the angel tags attached) are due back to us by Thursday, December 11.

If you know of a family in need, the organization is also accepting confidential requests for Christmas baskets. You can find more information on their page.
