Fresh snow, happy horses, and a whole lot of Christmas joy ❄️🐎🎄

Moments like these are what The Loft is all about — movement, connection, and taking the time to appreciate the simple things. Slowing down, getting outside, breathing in the fresh air, moving my body, and spending quality time with the horses and Goobs— letting them play, stretch, and simply be.

I’m so incredibly thankful for these quiet, joyful moments, for the animals that ground us, and for the people and community who make this space so special 🩷

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays From The Loft Massage Family🤍

As the year winds down, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for trusting me with your bodies, your horses, your dogs, your stories, your healing, and your time. This space exists because of you, and I don’t take that lightly, not even for a second.

I hope the next few days bring you rest, comfort, connection, and a little extra calm. I’m so excited for what the new year holds and can’t wait to welcome you back—refreshed, recharged, and ready for whatever 2025 brings.

So I did the responsible thing and eased him into it…
“Magoo, buddy… sloths actually live in Costa Rica.” 🦥🌴
Cue concern. Immediate concern.

To soften the blow of me being away, I got him his own sloth — because clearly he needed a local stand-in while I’m gone. Emotional support sloth? Yes. Overkill? Also yes. Worth it? Absolutely.

✨Studio heads up ✨
I’ll be away recharging back in one of my favourite places from Jan 19 – Feb 18, so massage appointments will be paused during that time. BUT — the Red Light Recovery Room stays OPEN and fully bookable! Your nervous system doesn’t have to miss me as much as Magoo will 😉

I’ll be back rested, grounded, and possibly moving at a sloth’s pace for a few days.

Book ahead if you want in before I go… Magoo insists. Only a few spots are left in January so make sure to book into February if you want to in when I’m back 🙏🏼

Holiday hours update 🤍🎄

We’re open right up until Christmas Eve for last-minute gifting, sneaky self-care, and “I should probably book this now” moments.

We’ll be closed Dec 25–28 to rest, reset, eat too many snacks, and spend time with our favourite humans (and animals).

We’re back open Dec 29 & 30 to help you shake off the holiday stiffness, stress, and questionable sleeping positions.

New Year’s Eve is off — because boundaries, balance, and starting the year without burnout matter around here 😇

We’ll be back in the studio January 2, refreshed, recharged, and very ready for 2025 ✨

My favourite three-legged girl was feeling the lasting cold and snow, so she was due for some routine maintenance. From a REMT perspective: winter stiffness calls for extra care, strategic snuggles, and keeping her “babies” (aka her stuffies) close for emotional support.
