Cervical Screening Clinic coming to Carleton Place on June 18!

Cervical cancer screening (aka a Pap test) is important for preventing cervical cancer, but can be difficult to access for those without a family doctor. If you or someone you know does not have a family doctor and is overdue for a Pap, check out this great opportunity! Most people need cervical screening every 5 years from ages 25 to 69, even if they are healthy, have no symptoms, are in a monogamous relationship, have only ever had one partner, are pregnant, or have gone through menopause.

Cold and flu season is here!!! 🤧🤧🤧

To prevent the spread of illnesses, we are asking that you don’t come into the clinic if you are sick and that you don’t bring sick children to your visit. Please call the clinic and speak to Kelly as she will be happy to help you rebook your visit or change your appointment to a phone visit! As midwives, we see many clients and their newborns every day, and we want to avoid passing illnesses between clients and from midwives to clients as much as possible. If you do arrive with symptoms of cold or flu, you will be asked to wear a mask or leave the clinic.

Let’s all try to stay healthy this winter!

Attention Bells Corners clients! Bells Mews is undergoing a refresh!

Bells Mews is currently getting some cosmetic updates. As such, there are paint fumes, removal of carpets, and closed washrooms in the building. Please try to use the bathroom at home prior to your visit, however the washroom on the 3rd floor is open if needed — ask your midwife for directions! If you would like to change your visit to virtual, please call the clinic to do so. These renovations are likely to last into November.

Thank you for your patience and understanding!
