Introducing Tony's Chocolonlely! Tony's is a Dutch chocolate manufacturer and seller created in 2005 as a protest against child exploitation and slavery in the chocolate industry. Tony's is headquartered in Amsterdam and is known for its advocacy. Tony's is a supporter and sponsor of The Granary's Annual Chocolate Party ! We will be sampling these super star bars throughout our event. We've fallen in love with these mouthwatering substantial treats that are likely meant to be shared but often hoarded by our staff🍫

Why choose Fairtrade Chocolate?

Unfortunately, the chocolate industry has a dark history and continues to exploit both humans and the earth. The biggest ethical issues include child labour and human trafficking, widespread poverty among cocoa farmers who are not paid a living wage, and deforestation driven by the need for more cocoa land. These problems are linked, as farmer poverty is a major driver for child labor, and companies have historically lacked transparency, with their initiatives to fix these problems often having little impact. Fairtrade is the most recognized and trusted sustainability label working to make trade fairer for the people who grow our food.

We've added to our super star line up of ethical chocolate makers and can't wait to share the sweetness of the season with you. We will be highlighting the beloved brands that we will be sharing and sampling at The Granary's Annual Chocolate Party so stay tuned to learn about all the wonderful makers who are doing their part to make the love of chocolate more fair🍫
