The Carseland Public Benefit Club was formed in 1912, when a group of 32 Carseland and district women gathered to socialize and contribute to their community. Over the years their undertakings were many and varied, including, help for the needy and flowers for the sick. During the wars they had an extensive program of knitting socks and sweaters and ending food parcels for the boys overseas. Fund raising has been the foundation of the Club since its inception. Over the past ninety-nine years, contributions have been made to medical, recreational, fire service and preservation projects and children’s development programs.

Huge shout out to Renaissance Bakery for an incredible evening for our June meeting. The food was amazing, the ambience tremendous, and, as always, the service exceptional. Providing a fine classical guitarist was a great complementary touch. Delighted to experience and enjoy one of your catered events. Thank you.

> On May 4, several members gathered in the Carseland Community Hall kitchen. Their objective to create a cleaner working environment for community members and renters.
Mission accomplished.
> On May 17, a few of our members helped out at Inn from the Cold serving the evening meal and cleaning up afterwards.
We are grateful for a history of leaving things better than we find them.
