Receptionist required for Valhalla Physiotherapy in Fruitvale. 12-15 hours a week. $20/hr first 3 months then $23/hr. Monday afternoons, Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Attention: Valhalla Physio in Castlegar is looking for a permanent front desk person to start immediately. People, phone, and computer skills a must. Should have transportation as start/end times can vary by an hour or so. Averages 30 hours a week. Starting at $20/hr with increases based on performance and loyalty. Required Immediately, part time receptionist. Valhalla Physiotherapy has reopened and will be expanding hours as things get “back to (the new) normal”. We are in immediate need of a receptionist for the Fruitvale clinic. Depending on time of year and other factors, there would be 2-4 shifts a week, shifts typically are 5-7 hours long. $15/hr starting with increase on completion of 3 month trial period. Looking for some stability, this is not a temporary position.

Well, the 2 week closure turned into 8 and the return will be gradual and different with PPE and less people in the clinic but.....

Castlegar: M/F - 7am-3 PM and W - 7-2

Fruitvale: T/Th - 7am - 3 PM

The BC Public Health Officer and the Physiotherapy Association of BC have advised and recommended that private clinics close until the COVID-19 pandemic subsides.

The BC Public Health Officer and the Physiotherapy Association of BC have advised and recommended that private clinics close for a minimum of 2 weeks. It is impossible to do our jobs while social distancing by 2 metres.

We will finish out the week and then close until April 6, 2020 at the earliest. Hopefully this will help in “flattening the curve” and delaying the spread of this virus.

This decision was very hard to make. Financially this will be my biggest professional challenge, but our main concern is for those of you that depend on us!! I will help in any way I can during this time.

Please!!! Follow this example and if you can stay home, please do. This won’t last forever and if we all listen to the experts, we can all be part of the solution!
