2025 was a tough year. For my family, for so many of you, it brought challenges that at times felt overwhelming. And you know what? It’s okay if all you did this year was survive. Simply showing up, taking it one day at a time, and still moving forward is resilience in action. 🌿

Through the struggles, we’ve learned how strong we are. I feel so grateful to be part of this community – for the warmth, the support, and the welcome that has made this place feel like home. Watching my daughter start kindergarten, seeing her joy alongside her dogs, and taking steps to build my business here are small reminders that life still offers moments of hope, connection, and growth.

As we step into 2026, let’s honor the resilience that carried us through. Let’s celebrate every victory, big or small, and keep moving forward together. 💛

Opening day at Red Mountain and fresh snow is falling.

Early-season skiing and snowboarding place high demand on the body — especially the knees, hips, spine, and lower extremities. Cold temperatures, reduced conditioning, and long first days increase the risk of muscle strain, joint irritation, and overuse symptoms.

Acupuncture is an effective recovery tool. It helps reduce inflammation, improve circulation, regulate muscle tone, and support nervous system recovery between training days. Used early in the season, it can decrease injury risk and improve how your body tolerates load as days on the hill add up.

If you still have health benefits left, now is the time to use them before they reset. Once the kids are off school and Christmas hits, schedules fill fast and spots disappear.

Ski and snowboard season is coming up, and pre-season training can put extra load on the quads, hips, and lower back. It’s common to feel stiffness or early fatigue before the lifts even start turning.

Acupuncture supports recovery by improving circulation, reducing muscle tension, and restoring normal movement patterns. This keeps the joints moving well and lowers the risk of early-season strains once you’re back on the slopes.

As the weather gets colder, recovery matters even more—proper warm-ups, managing fatigue, and giving the body enough downtime make a real difference in performance and injury prevention.
