Cardio kickboxing is a combination of full-body aerobic exercises with boxing and martial arts moves. The focus of cardio kickboxing is twofold: movement and fun. There’s little to no emphasis placed on technique, and the boxing and martial arts moves are kept simple. Most times we stick to jabs and crosses, for example, some uppercuts and hooks. While cardio kickboxing classes generally offer little to no resistance training, they do offer a tenacious whole-body workout.

Ways to stay motivated to exercise.
1. Change your perspective-shift your couch potato mentality to think like an athlete. Take inspiration from others, even those who may not be physically active. Remember committing to a fitness routine begins in your head.
2. Set a goal-a realistic goal that includes clear milestones. As you progress towards your goal you will find things fall into place in your work, home life, and health.
3. Schedule a regular workout time-make yourself a schedule to fit in time for YOU. Think of it like making an appointment.
4. Think fun and variety-change up your routine a bit. Try different ways to move your body, whether is crushing a CrossFit class, sculpting at a spin and sculpt class, yoga, or punching a bag. Change is good because your body isn’t expecting it.
5. Reach out to others for support-whether it’s asking a friend to join the gym with you or making friends at the gym.

Absolutely, you can definitely do anything you set your mind to, it takes action, it takes perseverance, it takes facing your fears and most likely getting out of your comfort zone but nothing worth having comes easy in life.

Certainly, if you’re looking for an unrealistic goal, you are going to fail from the beginning, however; if we take a realistic goal, for example, working out 2-3 times a week, you feel lost and frustrated because you may not know where to begin. That’s where Fitbox comes in. We are there to support you, guide you and motivate you. You CAN’T give up, because this is YOUR dream and If you truly dream of committing to working out then you will make it happen somehow. It may take some time, a couple of months, years, but making it happen is what matters, achieving that goal.
Now, realistically you will have to make some changes in your life, most likely you will need to make the time, plan the time and commit to the times. The process may not be easy but it will be worth it and there is no better feeling than that. At the end of the day, it’s all up to you, it can be tempting to just throw the towel and give up, but hang on , believe in yourself and you will find the courage to take action on your goals.

Working out isn’t about punishing yourself for eating “bad” food or taking an extra rest day here and there. Fitness is not a tool for punishment, and if you treat it that way, you’re unnecessarily tearing yourself down.

Getting fit is all about building yourself up, so you can become the best version of yourself. As you get stronger, fitter, and increase your athletic skillset, you’ll develop a better relationship with your body and mind—and your confidence levels will skyrocket as a result.

For the love of martial arts. 🥊🥊🥊🥊🥊Whether it’s boxing, kickboxing/Muay Thai, jujitsu or MMA.

Boxing is one of the oldest and most celebrated martial arts of all time. Also known as “the sweet science”, boxing has been refined and perfected for thousands of years. It utilizes head movements, footwork, and punches to form a very efficient striking system.

This system is also widely considered one of the most effective methods for self-defense.

Boxing has been at the center of all of combat sports for hundreds of years and provided some of the most popular athletes the world as ever seen including Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, and Manny Pacquiao. The power, ferocity, and technical knowledge of a high level boxer in the ring never fails to amaze anyone that watches it.

I found my love of punching the crap out of a bag when I was just a kid. (Hitting people is shunned upon) haha unless mutually agreed upon! 😜
I remember watching the great old fighters with my dad on the television and him standing there shadow boxing as I looked on in awe not knowing that I too would find my love of the sport.
