My heart goes out to the Filipino community and those in Vancouver who have been traumatized or lost someone due to Saturday’s unimaginable violence at the Lapu lapu festival. Sadly one of the victims was a school counsellor. Although i did mot know her i wanted to share this and honour her legacy. Truly devastating. 😭💔

The New Westminster School Board released a statement Monday announcing Kira Salim was among those who died at the Lapu-Lapu Day festival.
