We are on our way to reaching the $15,000 goal we've set for this year's Backpack Campaign!

Our Christmas Backpack Campaign raises money to provide backpacks full of essential items for people leaving jail. It shows them they have a support system and it gives them one less thing to worry about as they start the journey of making a new life for themselves.

One of our favourite holiday traditions is making Christmas cards with the women in the jail!

Wendy gets all the supplies ready-to-go and brings everything they need to create customized cards for their friends and family.

For some it’s an opportunity to showcase their artistic talents, for others it’s a way to connect with loved ones. For everyone it’s a positive way to spend an hour getting into the holiday spirit.

Christmas is often a hard time of year for them and this is one of the ways we try to bring a little bit of joy ♥️

It's time for our annual Christmas Backpack Campaign!

Lots of people we work with in the jail leave with just the clothes on their backs when they're released.

Being able to give them a backpack full of essential items gives them one less thing to worry about as they get re-established. It shows them their community cares, is rooting for them, and is here to support them when they need it.

What a day! Our 20th Annual Golf Tournament brought in the biggest donation total we’ve seen yet: $35,079 🎉

HUGE thank you to our volunteers, our golfers, the team at Glasgow Hills Golf Club and everyone who supported this year’s event. We can’t wait to see all the amazing things this money will do in our community ♥️

We are very grateful for the support we've received from Minister Bloyce Thompson and the Department of Justice and Public Safety 👏🏻

Minister Thompson is a regular guest at our Community Changers Breakfast, but this year he brought a surprise: a $10,000 donation on behalf of the department!

This money will make such an incredible impact for the people we work with every day. Thank you SO much ♥️
