This is my story:

My name is Lindsey Gorveatt (Gouthro) and I am the face behind Good for the Sole Foot Care where we offer basic, advanced and diabetic foot care💜
I’m a born and raised Islander. I have had the privilege of growing up in Charlottetown in the house my father and grandfather built, where my mom and dad now still live. I have an older brother, an older sister, 1 niece and 2 nephews who I adore dearly. I also have two dogs, Sophie and Charlie, they are two cockapoos who are spoiled beyond belief but I wouldn’t have it any other way. 🐶🐶🐾🐾
With that said, after 2 years in the delay, thanks to COVID, I finally got to marry my best friend this past summer and it was the best day ever. He is my biggest support system and I wouldn’t be where I am today without him! 💙
Education: I graduated from the Holland College Licensed Practical Nursing Program in 2013 and have been working as a full time LPN in Charlottetown ever since.
Why?
I have worked in nursing homes, home care, hospital settings and doctors office for the past 9 years.
During the days of COVID shutdowns, I decided I could use the shutdown to do some education on foot care. After all, what else was there to do?! 💁🏻♀️
Foot care is something everyone requires at some point in their life. Being a full time LPN in the hospital, I’ve seen the demand for any type of foot care possible. In my limited non busy moments, I enjoyed giving patients the TLC they deserve by giving them a manicure/ pedicure or even a hand/foot massage. Seeing how good people feel afterwards is what is so rewarding about foot care.
It took me a while to get my business up and running, but here I am folks! If or someone you know is requiring some foot care or even just a pick me up, let me know, I’ll be glad to help! 👣♥️
