The Root Cellar PEI The Root Cellar has been in business since 1972. It was purchased in 1999 by Naturopathic Doctor Kali Simmonds and her husband Pat Morris.

Health food store carrying high-quality supplements, non-toxic bodycare and makeup, organic and specialty foods (gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, keto, paleo) located in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. The store carries a large variety of products including organic groceries, gluten-free products, over 75 bulk herbs & spices, bulk organic flours and grains, high quality raw nuts and seeds (we are one of the only places that refrigerate our nuts and seeds), dried fruit, fair trade organic coffee, truly natural bodycare products and cosmetics, home cleaning products, numerous supplement lines, homeopathics, herbal remedies, books and magazines. The store has a warm, earthy atmosphere, as you would expect from an authentic healthfood store, yet it is up to date with current trends and meets today's convenience requirements. What truly sets apart The Root Cellar from other health food stores is its longevity and customer service. All of the staff has considerable knowledge and will do their very best to accommodate your needs. The Root Cellar is open Monday through Saturday 9:00 to 6:00.

Dear Valued Root Cellar Customers,

Please join me, at no cost, for a 30 min session as I present what I feel to be some of the most pertinent health information you should know. I will then be followed by lawyer Shawn Buckley who has been avidly protecting our access to natural health products as he reports on government policy that could drastically affect what is available to all of us for self care-never has the need been greater as access to care gets more challenging.

In the last campaign all 338 MPS received mail saying it was the largest grassroots campaign of their careers and PEI stood out as a leader. We don’t want our precious efforts to be wasted from lack of persistence.
