For many of us
We celebrated the Solstice
& still the 13 Holy Days still unfolding ….

Its only the gregorian calender
that was put in place with its 12 months
removing us from our natural cycles.

with Leap years & time changes ???
🫣🙃
It’s the dead of winter
We’re supposed to be inward

reflecting , brewing ideas ,
thinking about what hasnt
worked or supported our soul

When the Spring Equinox returns
Its the NYear ~ True You.

Its always resonated with me

I’ve certainly celebrated
more than a few NYears
hiding from the sloppy kissers
& smooching my beloved
on a top deck or corner 😊

But over the past 31/2 decades
often it would be a random surprising
happening a few days before
in a sweet pub or lounge

Ending up meeting some of the
sweetest coolest souls
in true celebration just being .

So come the day i’m supposed to
We were cozy chilling
eating delicious healthy food
& sipping fine wine 🍷 .
( never have liked champagne )
Even though my friend was a sommelier
& tried the Best .🙏🏻🎉

Whatever you celebrate
Be open to changing it up
