YOUTHFUL NECK- we are now offering Botox to treat the platysmal bands. This treatment looks beautiful and effortless when paired with your regular facial Botox injections.

Platysmal bands are a natural part of the aging process. The skin’s loss of elasticity causes the skin overlying the platysma to weaken and sag. Additionally, the platysma muscle becomes lax with age, causing the skin to droop. By doing targeted botox injections, we can soften the appearance of the sagging skin and wrinkles in the neck giving it a more youthful look.

In this industry, in this culture, we can often fall down a slippery slope of over analyzing things we believe to be flaws. Even when it comes to something like Botox, we try to keep it subtle because those lines often represent something beautiful . “I hate my crows feet.” Seen from a different perspective, those “crows feet” become “smile lines”. They are the markings of years of laughter, smiles, and joy in your life. We are all for aging gracefully, but not at the cost of self destructive talk, obsessing about tiny “flaws”, and comparing oneself to another.

Migraines/headaches can be debilitating. The pain one can experience has been described as, “A hammer being slammed over and over against the skull.” We have had patients miss work, family gatherings, and the joys of day to day life because of this pain.

BOTOX has proven to be a highly effective method to temporarily relieve migraines and/or headaches. In fact, almost every therapeutic Botox patients we treat experiences complete or close to complete pain relief until the Botox wears off (typically 3-4 months). And almost every single therapeutic Botox patient comes back because nobody should live with that much pain if they don’t have to.

Here’s how the process works:

There is an initial therapeutic Botox consultation of $150 with Dr Wiebe, MD where he sits down with you and discusses your medical history, examines the area of pain, and discusses a plan to address the migraines. There is usually time to go ahead with the Botox treatment in that same visit if you like. However, you’re welcome to go home and think about your options and if you would like to book in at a later date with Dr Wiebe for the treatment.

*Dr Wiebe, MD also does Botox therapeutic treatments for TMJ (jaw clench).
