You don’t have to be full on Plant Based to work towards a healthy pantry like Gabriel and his family but you can choose to eat more plants and whole foods. Choosing prepared and packaged foods = poorer health all around!
We all want to be healthier abs there is no magic pill it is work but doesn’t have to be hard. We need to make time to prepare our own food more, there are lots of ways to get creative. The zero waste store and Healthward Bound in Goderich, Local Organics in Seaforth are worth checking out to help you on this path. Also, choosing in season produce and local produce markets (Maitland Market and Firmly Rooted ) to shop or grow your own.
