Starting July 2026, we are bringing our speech therapy services directly to your front door. We are officially expanding our in home sessions to cover Huron and Perth Counties.

We will be visiting families in:
Huron County: Goderich, Clinton, Seaforth, Exeter, Zurich & Hensall
Perth County: Dublin & Mitchell

We continue to service all ages and abilities. Whether you are looking for support for a toddler, school aged child or an adult, we are ready to support your communication journey right where you are most comfortable.

The Waterloo Concert Band is hosting an accessible concert April 12

Tutti: All Together Now, on Sunday, April 12th, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Knox Presbyterian Church (50 Erb St W, Waterloo).

This performance is designed to be welcoming for members of the disability community, including autistic individuals, people with ADHD, people in the Blind, D/deaf, and Deafblind communities, people with developmental disabilities, people living with dementia, and anyone who may benefit from a more relaxed concert environment (including young children!).

Audience members are welcome to respond to the music however they feel comfortable, and they may move around the concert space or step out if needed. Large-print programs will also be available. After the concert, we will host a “Musical Zoo,” where audience members can meet the musicians and see the instruments up close.

This concert is also a fundraiser for the Canadian Music Therapy Fund!

Music therapists across Canada are raising their voices.

We’re calling on provincial governments to formally recognize Certified Music Therapists (MTAs) as healthcare professionals by adding them to the Canada Revenue Agency’s Authorized Medical Practitioners list.

Why does this matter?

Because recognition means clients and families could claim music therapy as a medical expense, improving access to care.

After Stuart Duncan, a father from Timmins, ON, noticed his autistic son getting bullied online while playing Minecraft, he decided to change the playing field. He created a safe, private server geared towards kids with autism. It's heavily moderated and focuses on kindness and now has over 20,000 users globally!

17 years of making music! So grateful to be able to live out my dream job right here where I grew up and offer so many opportunities for music therapy and music education to people of all ages and abilities. In 2025 I added 3 new contracts, had 330 1:1 sessions, 269 music lessons, spent 1232 hours in long term care and hospice, gave 3 presentations, 3 groups of Music for Littles, and 5 group sessions with community groups! 😅 What will 2026 bring?
