Flushing medications or throwing them in the garbage can contribute to pharmaceutical traces in soil and water. Even in low concentrations, these substances may accumulate over time and impact the environment.
The safest option is to return unused or expired medications. We accept prescription drugs, over-the-counter medications, oral natural health products, and certain topical products in their original containers. Check your medicine cabinet at least twice a year to return what you no longer need.
