Not every difficult day needs to be solved.

Sometimes the most healing thing we can do is meet ourselves with compassion and move gently through the moment. Small comforts, rest, nourishment, music, fresh air, or simply allowing the day to be “enough” can all be meaningful ways of caring for ourselves.

If things have been feeling heavier than usual, support is available. I am accepting a limited number of new clients in May—please feel free to reach out to be added to my waitlist. 🌿

✨ Exciting News — We’ve Moved! ✨

I’m so happy to share that my counselling office has moved **just one block west** to a beautiful new space inside the Clinton Chiropractic and Wellness Centre, located at 160 Huron Street in Clinton!

This new office has truly been a labour of love, and I’m so grateful for the help of my family who made so much of this space possible. From painting, to building and moving furniture, to decorating and adding thoughtful details- their support helped bring this vision to life. 💛

There are still a few finishing touches to complete, but it already feels warm, welcoming, and ready to hold meaningful conversations, healing, and growth. I can’t wait to welcome clients into this cozy new space!

🌿 I will be accepting a limited number of new clients in May. If you’d like to connect, please reach out to be added to my waitlist.

💬 **Anger is information** 💬

Many of us were taught to push anger away — to see it as something negative or “too much.”

But anger can be a signal. It can point to boundaries, needs, and parts of us that deserve attention. When we listen to it with curiosity instead of judgment, it can guide us instead of overwhelm us.

If you’re struggling to understand or manage big emotions, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

💛 **Be kind, always.** 💛

Everyone you pass is carrying something — some visible, some not.

Kindness doesn’t have to be big. A smile, a little patience, or a gentle word can go further than you know.

If you’re the one carrying a lot right now, you don’t have to do it alone.

💛 **A Different Way to See It** 💛

Sometimes what gets called a “cry for help” is actually something much stronger — a part of someone still fighting to stay here, even when things feel incredibly heavy.

Reaching out, speaking up, or even just holding on through a hard moment takes strength. The Huron Perth Helpline is a wonderful resource in our community with kind and skilled individuals to help in those hard moments. They can be reached 24/7 at 1-888.829.7484. There is also help available by phone or text to 9-8-8.

If you’re struggling, you don’t have to do it alone. Support can make a difference — even a small step toward it matters.

You’re not alone in this.

🪣 **Stress Bucket Reminder** 🪣

We all carry stress — and sometimes it quietly fills up until it spills over.

This is your reminder to check in:
What’s filling your bucket right now?
And what helps you release even a little bit of that stress?

Small things count — a walk, a conversation, rest, boundaries.

If your bucket has been feeling too full lately, you don’t have to manage it alone.

💭 **Feeling Your Feelings** 💭

Sometimes we don’t actually *feel* our emotions — we think about them.

This is your reminder to gently shift from the story in your mind to what’s happening in your body:
• Notice the sensation
• Name it
• Breathe into it
• Let it move

Feelings can be uncomfortable, but they are temporary — and you can move through them.

If this feels hard to do on your own, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

✨ **Happy International Women’s Day** ✨
Today we celebrate the strength of women — and honour the transformative power of women uplifting one another. Celebrating the strength and resilience that emerges when we support each other.
The friends, sisters, mothers, daughters, colleagues, mentors, and communities who hold each other up, speak truth, and remind one another of their worth. May we know them, may we be them, may we raise them. 💜
