I've been getting some clients asking if they can continue with their massage appointments during this new lockdown measure. The answer is YES. However, we have been advised by our governing college (the CMTO) to assess if "the anticipated benefits of treatment outweigh the risks to the client". It's important clients ask themselves this question before coming to their appointment. I tell clients if it makes them nervous to come then don't come. It can be counter productive to be tense and anxious on the table while receiving the treatment. I am very understanding if people wish to reschedule. All I ask is that those who feel the slightest bit unwell or have had a possible contact with someone unwell, then PLEASE reschedule. It's not only my health & livelihood I wish to preserve but most importantly the health of all the other clients I see.
