Meet Ceilidh McLeod, Canadian Certified Counsellor & Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) at River & Ridge Mental Health Collective.

Ceilidh believes in a whole-person, holistic approach to healing—supporting not only what you’re struggling with, but who you are at your core. She helps clients discover how small, intentional shifts in thoughts, emotions, and behaviours can lead to deep and lasting change.

Her work is grounded in lived experience. Through personal loss, supporting families impacted by addiction, and years of work alongside military personnel and their loved ones, Ceilidh has seen firsthand how mental health affects not just individuals—but entire families. These experiences shape the deeply compassionate, steady presence she brings to therapy.

Ceilidh offers a safe, nurturing space to explore your inner world, heal past wounds, and gently shape a life that feels more grounded and fulfilling.

She supports individuals navigating:
✔️ PTSD & childhood trauma
✔️ Self-esteem & body image concerns
✔️ Men’s mental health
✔️ Military life, transitions & family stress

With advanced training as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and in IFS-informed therapy, emotional eating, and body image work, Ceilidh brings depth, skill, and care to every session.

✨ Now Accepting New Clients ✨

Meet Vanessa Rae, Registered Provisional Psychologist at River & Ridge Mental Health Collective.

Vanessa’s work is deeply rooted in lived experience. After navigating her own long journey with an eating disorder, she understands what it feels like to be scared, overwhelmed, and unseen—and how powerful it can be when someone finally creates a space where you feel safe enough to heal.

In Vanessa’s therapy room, you won’t find distance or clinical coldness. You’ll find a real human—present, compassionate, honest, and supportive—who sits with you through the hard stuff. Clients often describe sessions as feeling like talking with a trusted friend, paired with the insight and tools needed for real, lasting change (and yes, humour is welcome here).

Vanessa supports clients in going beneath the surface, helping healing become transformational—not just a temporary fix.

She works with:
✔️ Teens, adults, seniors & couples
✔️ Childhood trauma & eating disorders
✔️ Anxiety, ADHD & depression
✔️ Relationship challenges & codependency
✔️ Family conflict, divorce & life transitions
✔️ Coping skills, impulsivity & spirituality

The final chapter of change for this fall at EBP is a big one. We are rebranding!

As I’ve grown my practice the concept of getting creative and moving away from using my own name has been both exciting and overwhelming. I am so grateful that EBP has grown to be a name in Cochrane that is trusted so a transition to a name that is a more effective fit for crew of colleagues that have chosen to work with me has not come without a bit of nerves. That being said, it is super important to me to facilitate a space for like minded clinicians to grow their practices and for individuals to be able to maintain their own chosen brands while contracting in my practice. A practice name change helps with this!

Like with my own name change I had wanted to make this transition be eloquent and smooth and I’m realizing that it is far more effective to just jump in and go for it! Clients will notice new signs on office doors before you see the name change on receipts and with insurance companies. I am on the cusp of being able to launch our new website so stay tuned!

Yay, exciting!

It’s an odd line as a therapist who really believes in being real and authentic with clients and also holding my own boundaries with some personal life stuff. As exciting as all the evolution arena EBP has been, this is the change this fall that I’m the most excited about. Stay tuned after this weekend for the next chapter of change because both my last name and the name of the practice will be getting a revamp. Please excuse me while I skillfully enact a boundary and ghost everything work related for a week 💕
