Being blessed to be raised with herbal wisdoms I have a passion for plant medicines and incorporating them with sound and energy healing. Yoga is so much more than stretching or exercise.

In its traditional roots it is a full life philosophy called the Eight Limbs of Yoga — a guide for how we move through the world, care for ourselves, and understand our inner landscape.

The Eight Limbs include:
• Yamas – how we treat others with kindness, honesty, and respect.
• Niyamas – how we care for ourselves through discipline, self-reflection, and contentment.
• Asana – the physical postures that build strength and mobility while teaching presence in the body.
• Pranayama – breath awareness that calms the nervous system and increases energy.
• Pratyahara – turning inward and unplugging from constant external noise.
• Dharana – concentration and mental focus.
• Dhyana – meditation and emotional awareness without judgment.
• Samadhi – a sense of connection, peace, and wholeness.

This is why yoga is such a passion of mine. It fulfills my mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, and community needs in the same way mountain hiking does. Both practices bring perspective, humility, strength, and a deep connection to nature and self.

I teach every Sunday night at Yoga MCC and every Tuesday night at Yoga Spirit. I also host multi-day retreats that weave yoga theory and movement together with herbology and Astrology for a truly immersive experience.

My third love, after mountains and yoga, is crafting in the kitchen. I create whole-food plant-based meals that are deeply nourishing and full of flavor. You can taste these creations at my Alberta and BC retreats where I prepare all the food myself so the experience supports the body just as much as the mind and spirit.

Hello beautiful souls,

I’ve had many requests for daytime soundbaths — and here they are.

High Sun Soundbath | Pure Sound at Noon is an offering created for those of you who move through full days, carry a lot, and need a place to truly rest without waiting until evening.

My intention with these noon soundbaths is to offer a simple, deeply restorative pause — a space where your nervous system can soften, reset, and release what it’s been holding.

Held from 12–1pm at Big Kid Records Studio (Cosmic Womb Space), you’ll rest on 4-inch memory foam mattresses with blankets provided. Bring a pillow (even a jacket works). I’ll gently guide you into the sound, then allow the gongs to take you wherever your system knows it needs to go.

There’s no theme and nothing to “do” — just pure sound and deep rest, designed for lunch breaks, daytime schedules, or anyone who needs an hour to decompress.

Blessed Imbolc Ceremony with my beautiful friend .dentremont . This is our 3rd annual Imbolc Ceremony and one of our favorite co-creations.

Today’s Imbolc gathering was a beautiful reminder that even in the quiet of winter, life is already stirring beneath the surface.

We moved through gentle Yin Yoga accompanied by the resonance of Alchemy Singing Bowls, allowing the body to soften and the mind to listen. Through Briede Astrology we reflected on the subtle sparks of inspiration and inner fire that live within each of us. Our Fire Ritual invited release and intention, while the traditional Cakes and Ale Ceremony grounded us in gratitude, nourishment, and community.

The energy of the group was truly incredible — a circle of open hearts co-creating a space of warmth, reflection, and quiet anticipation. Together we honored the season of incubation, like seeds resting in the dark soil, trusting their time to rise.

Imbolc carries the message of awakening and hope. Just as the trees begin to send their energy upward long before the first buds appear, we too are preparing for growth even when the world still looks like winter. Today was a celebration of that unseen movement — the gentle return of light, intention, and possibility.
