Our world can often feel chaotic, overwhelming, overstimulating & just too much.
That is a very valuable signal that its time to step back, to check in with your Self, to pause, to listen & breathe........
When we become swept up & into an energy that consumes us it can affect our body, our mind & our spirit.
Take a step back to re-focus your energy & attention. Sit quietly with a cup of tea & just be present.
Place your feet on the floor or even the ground outdoors [if possible] take some nice deep calming breaths and feel yourself begin to sink in & relax.
Our nervous system is not meant to try to absorb, filter & process all of the world's issues all at once, that creates a sensory overload.
Its ok to be still, to be quiet & just Be with yourself.
Its ok to feel how you feel, write it out, cry it out, talk it out and let it release. Reach out to someone you feel safe & comfortable with for support.
There is a lot in our lives that is in constant motion. Throughout your days try to allocate even a few moments to step back from it all, and come back to your Self, so that you may ground, center & realign yourself. Your nervous system will thank you greatly for this.
And remember you are not meant to carry all things, what is not yours to carry set it down & allow yourself to flow forward.
