Limestone Therapeutic Massage Clinic will be opening as of May 19, 2020.
Please be advised that there will be notable changes as outlined here. Please read carefully and feel free to call, text or email me if you have any questions.
- Prior to your appointment:
• You will receive a text confirming you have not been around people, or yourself, have not had any COVID-19 symptoms.
• It will be up to you to decide if you feel comfortable wearing a mask and/or having me wear a mask. Although I do have masks available, I would prefer for you to bring your own to wear yourself.
• If you prefer that I use gloves, please also let me know that and I will accommodate.
• Prior to your arrival, all surfaces will be cleaned and all linens will be washed on the sterilization cycle. (As has always been done)
- Arrival:
• Please do not bring anyone with you unless they are required for assistance or the patient is a minor.
• When you arrive, you will notice the décor to be changed. You will be asked to use hand sanitizer.
Please remove your shoes on the mat and have a seat on the chair. Wherever possible, we are still required to maintain a 6’ separation. I will sit at my desk across the room where we will do our typical interview.
• Ideally, it would be best for everyone to use the washroom at home prior to their appointment, however, the washroom here is still available and will be cleaned between patients.
• I will be re-asking the questions you were sent by text and will be discussing consent for your treatment in terms of massage as well as COVID-19. You may ask me any questions and I will answer them to the best of my ability. It should be noted that I have a post-nasal drip which causes me to occasionally cough or clear my throat. This has been there for years and is not related to any viruses.
• Please refrain from touching your face wherever possible. I will provide tissues for you if you must touch your face, please use the tissue and dispose of it in the garbage.
- Massage:
• The massage will look largely the same as you have become accustomed to and of course, as always, you are able to stop, change or modify any part of the appointment that makes you more comfortable.
- After the massage:
• After you are dressed, we will discuss home care, next appointments and payment (the same as before).
• Prior to leaving, you must again wash your hands with hand sanitizer.
Thank you for understanding and complying with these new guidelines. If we continue to comply with these guidelines, we should be able to continue having our clinics open and helping our patients be healthy and happy.
